Portraits for NHS Heroes

by Kate

Today we would like to share with you two portraits that we created very recently for the #portraitsfornhsheroes project started by a British artist Tom Croft where UK artists offered to create portraits of NHS key workers as a thank you for their work during the pandemic. Each artist was paired with a person working with NHS and we are proud to have taken part in it.

As you know, we don’t normally share our non-pet portraits here (if you’ve read our “about” page you probably know that outside of our pet portraits we also get commissioned for human portraits and illustrations) but we thought that our blog might be a good place to share our other artworks every now and then. Painting and sharing Portraits of NHS Heroes seemed like a good way to start. These brave men and women will soon have to face the second wave and deserve our respect and gratitude for the work they're doing! <3
