Update - Lille, Baxter and Ziggy

Here’s what we’ve been up to recently!
Paul has just finished his pencil portrait, which he framed in a beautiful wooden frame with a gold slip and white mount, and sent it to his client. I have finished the portait of Baxter and Ziggy which was a lot of fun to do and their owners love the final effect! They chose a lovely frame for it - one of my favourites - which compliments the painting really well making it look glamorous. I thought you might enjoy seeing how I applied retouch varnish to it so I made a short video of the process!

I still can't share the painting of the beautiful cat, I had mentioned previously as it's a secret birthday present, but I will probably be able to share it in the next update.

In the meantime I am working on a lovely portrait of Lille commissioned by one of my American clients! Lille is such a cutie pie and so much fun to paint!

Also last but not least - even though its not really pet portrait news - I’m happy to announce that one of my paintings has been chosen as a finalist of ARC Salon Competition. The International ARC Salon Competition is the most far reaching and influential competition for Contemporary Realism in the world. I'm super excited and grateful for the honor!
